Moorside High School is an over- subscribed, smaller than average 11-18 mixed comprehensive with a shared Sixth Form on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands.

14% of students are on the SEND register and a dedicated team of nine Teaching Assistants, an Assistant SENCo and SENCo work with these students. 
The successful candidate must have previous experience of working with children with SEN needs in a school setting. Site Technician / D&T Technician (with pupil support)

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Site and D&T Technican from September 2018 to join our small dedicated maintenance team.  The role will be comprised of 23 hours Site Technician duties which are whole year, with some minibus driving included, together with 14 hours of D&T Technician hours to support our teaching staff which are term time only. The hours of work will be  10.00 am – 6.00 pm some flexibility.
The ideal candidate will have experience of  driving a minibus and working within a maintenance setting, with some proven skills in joinery

CLEANER

10 hours per week – 3.30 pm – 5.30 pm

We are looking to appoint a cleaner to  work under the direction of the Cleaning Supervisor operating individually and as part of a team, cleaning of designated areas, to ensure they are kept in a clean and hygienic condition. 
This is  a permanent post.  The successful candidate will also be required to work during the school closure periods, the post holder will be required to work 4 x weekly contracted hours (40 hours) to undertake necessary deep cleaning.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic D&T Food Technician/ Lunchtime Supervisor from September 2018 to join our small dedicated team. You will have a flexible approach in order to ably support  specialist teaching staff and resource lessons to a high standard with an emphasis on safe practice. The role will be comprised of 12 hours per week Technician duties, together with 5 hours per week Lunchtime Supervisor hours.  Hours of work will be approximately 10.00 am – 1.15 pm with some flexibility as and when required.
